Overview
Al-Bandira is a Kuwaiti social drama that chronicles the struggles of Marzouk, an ordinary man who quits his job, sells the family burial plot, and buys a car to work as a taxi driver. His principled refusal to overcharge passengers keeps his income painfully low, straining his marriage as his wife grows increasingly frustrated. When a friend promises to arrange a work contract abroad and his wife gives birth to twins — bringing his total number of children to six — the pressures of daily life pile up in a warm and honest portrait of a working-class family navigating dignity and financial hardship.
