Marwa ElKhatib

An Egyptian actress, born in Burj el-Barajneh, Lebanon, to an Egyptian father and a Lebanese mother. She studied at the Faculty of Law at the University of Beirut in 1982. She came to Cairo and entered the arts by chance, as the director (Tayseer Abboud) saw her while visiting a colleague in the studio, and assigned her a small role in the film (Let Me Take Revenge). After that, she participated in films such as (Ten on Ten, Mothers in Exile, Escape from Khanka) and others. I participated with the director (Mohamed Rady) repeatedly, and also worked with the great director (Atef Al-Tayeb) in the movie (Blood on the Asphalt). She stopped acting for a while after her marriage to the Egyptian actor (Nasser Seif) and her birth, before returning with the series (I Will Not Live in My Father’s Robe), after which she participated in the series (Al-Hasida), (We Do Not Plant Thorns) directed by (Hussein Kamal), and (Souq Al-Asr), and she turned mainly to television. I worked in several plays, starting with the play (People Are Crazy) directed by (Al-Sayyed Rady), then (On the Raseef) directed by (Jalal Al-Sharqawi), (Love in the Wood) directed by (Samir Seif), (Cream and Honey) directed by (Jalal Al-Sharqawi), and (The Lucky) opposite (Samir Ghanem). I also participated in (Hello, Doctor) with (Samir Ghanem) as well, and the religious performance play (Muhammad). Prophet of morals). She gave birth to her husband, actor Nasser Saif, a daughter, Nour Al-Baha, and a son, Ahmed.
