Overview

The Talisman is an Egyptian horror-comedy film centred on Mahmoud, a beleaguered high school teacher crammed into a tiny apartment with his entire extended family. When their relentless landlord exhausts every conventional method to evict them, he takes a sinister turn — enlisting supernatural forces to do what legal pressure could not. What began as a domestic dispute spirals into something far darker and more bizarre, turning the cramped apartment into the battleground for a struggle between the mundane and the diabolical. A uniquely Egyptian blend of everyday humour and creeping dread.
