An Egyptian actress, born in Damietta to a poor family, on December 6, 1898. Her father worked as a fisherman. She left Damietta and fled to Cairo to look for a job opportunity. She applied for a job as an actress in the artist Aziz Eid’s theater troupe. Lotfia began her artistic career in the mid-twenties when she participated in the play Ali Baba in 1926 with Hussein Aser. Then she participated in Ali Al-Kassar’s plays before meeting Youssef Wehbe to work in his theater. Her first cinematic work was in a secondary role assigned to her by Ali Al-Kassar in the film The Gendarmerie, 1936, directed by Togo Mizrahi. After that, she presented a group of films in which she played supporting roles, such as the maid, the secretary, and the wife. Among her most prominent films - other than the film Gendarmerie, A Bridegroom from Istanbul / 1941. She died on February 22, 1945.
