Egyptian director, photographer, author, born on July 19, 1937. He obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Photography, in 1963. He worked as an assistant cameraman immediately after his graduation with Wadid Sari.
He has worked as a director of photography since 1968, and his first films were 6 Girls and a Groom in 1970, The Girls’ Sisters in 1976, A Woman of Glass in 1977, The Judge and the Executioner in 1978, Fatwat Bulaq in 1981, and The Lucky Movie in 1984.
He formed a film production and distribution company in 1970
He wrote, wrote and filmed the film Nonviolence in 1993
