An Egyptian actor, whose full name is (Ali Abdel Fattah Gohar) was born on September 8, 1924 in the British capital, London, to an Egyptian father who works as an engineer and a British mother. He attended trade school and worked in the petroleum company and from there to the European program, where he worked as a presenter for news bulletins. Director Niazi Mustafa discovered him in the 1960s and presented him in the film (Janaab al-Safir) in 1966. He then acted in the same year in the film (Night Devils). Between 1967 and 1968, he presented the films (A Crime in the Quiet Neighborhood) and (The Man Who Lost His Shadow). In 1969, he presented the films (7 Days in Paradise, Ataba Jazzaz, and The Three Braves) in the 1970s, making a series of films. Important ones in his career and the history of Egyptian cinema include: (Mem Empire, Take Care of Zuzu, The Return of the Most Dangerous Man in the World, Alexandria Why). Everyone knows him through the character of Humphrey, the Interpol representative, in the movie (The Return of the Most Dangerous Man in the World) in 1972, and the character Ismat in the movie (Bird in the Sky) in 1988, as well as the character of Allington in the series (The Fall in Beersheba) in 1994. He was famous for his foreign features in most of his film and television roles. In the field of television, his first dramatic work was in the series (His Majesty Love) in 1978, directed by Hassan Al-Imam, and he followed it with the series (Tears in Shameless Eyes, Brother of Girls, Love and Other Things, Raafat Al-Hagan 1, Me, You and Baba in the Apricots, Layali Al-Helmeya 4). He died on June 5, 1998.
