Ahmed Al-Saleh (1938-2002) was a prominent Kuwaiti actor, considered one of the pioneers of art in Kuwait and the Arabian Gulf. He was born in 1938 and began his artistic career in the mid-twentieth century, where he participated in many television and theatrical works that left an imprint on the history of Kuwaiti art. Ahmed Al-Saleh is famous for his strong performance and his ability to embody various characters, whether in drama or comedy. He participated in many series and plays that dealt with social and humanitarian issues, and his name became associated with many works that received wide praise from audiences and critics alike. Among his most prominent works are “Al-Hayala” and “My Aunt Qamasha,” in addition to many plays that contributed to consolidating his position as one of the pillars of Kuwaiti art. Ahmed Al-Saleh died in 2002, but he left a great artistic legacy by which art audiences in Kuwait and the Arabian Gulf remember him.
