Overview
30 Days of Love is a Kuwaiti romantic comedy play that premiered in April 1973 and toured Bahrain in February 1974. Written by and starring the legendary Abd Al-Hussein Abd Al-Rida, alongside Suad Abdullah, and directed by Hussein Al-Saleh, the play centers on the spoiled Dalal who falls for pharmacist Fahd. Her father, skeptical of the match, secretly tasks Fahd with performing a thirty-day charade of courtship to test his daughter's true feelings. The result is a warmhearted, witty exploration of love, manipulation, and the thin line between affection and deception that became a beloved classic of Gulf theater.
