Madinat Al-Riyah (City of the Winds) is an Arabic adventure fantasy series following the young Ajaj, who sets out to find his father — described to him as a great man — in the mysterious City of the Winds. Standing in his way is the Elder of Ruin, an ancient force of chaos who dispatches his two scheming offspring, Alqam and Hazbona, to corrupt Ajaj and transform him into the unwitting instrument of an old prophecy of destruction. A richly imaginative battle between good and evil, the series weaves themes of courage, identity, and moral choice into an entertaining fantasy journey for the whole family.
