مسرحية بيبي والعجوز (Bibi and the Old Man) is an Arabic-language theatrical drama that unfolds over a single, tender night. When a couple leaves their young daughter in the care of a maid and heads out to work, the girl slips away alone into the streets in search of her parents. An old man discovers the wandering child and brings her home to spend the night under his care. What follows is an intimate portrait of two unlikely companions: the old man sings to the girl, shares his sorrows, and revisits memories of a life long past, while waiting for her parents to arrive. The play weaves together the innocence of childhood and the melancholy of old age, exploring loneliness, connection, and the unexpected comfort found in the company of strangers.
