Al Iqab is a Gulf family drama series that deals sensitively with disability, family duty, and domestic conflict. At its centre is Mona, a young woman with a disability who endures persistent mistreatment from her stepmother. Her father, unwilling to leave her in such conditions, gives up his job to care for her full-time — a sacrifice that creates serious financial and social friction within his marriage. The series stars Ahmed Al-Saleh, Aisha Ibrahim, Lotfi Abdel Hamid, Ibrahim Al-Harbi, Basima Hamada, and Sahar Hussein. Directed by Muhammad Al-Sayed Issa with a script by Khaled Al-Khashan, Al Iqab is a drama about the human cost of care and the tensions that arise when family loyalty is tested.
