Tarek's Situation is an Egyptian romantic comedy series following Tarek, a mobile phone company employee who accepts a dubious deal from sales agent Fady: access to a female subscriber's personal data in exchange for a bulk purchase of four hundred phone lines. Tarek assumes a false identity — introducing himself as engineer Omar Abou El Wafa — and pursues the unsuspecting Sara Al Mahdy, quickly falling genuinely in love with her. When Sara, who despises deception above all else, discovers the truth, Tarek must fight to win back her trust and untangle the web of lies he has spun. A warm, fast-paced comedy about ambition, love, and the high cost of dishonesty.
