Moatazza Abdel Sabour

An Egyptian actress, she graduated from the Department of Comparative English Literature at the American University, and also obtained a master’s degree in the same specialty. She initially participated as a heroine in an Iraqi theatrical treatment of Hamlet with Iraqi director Jawad Al-Asadi at the Hanager Theater. She performed comedy plays with the Haraka troupe with Khaled Al-Sawy and Khaled Saleh. She also re-presented her father’s poetic plays on youth theatres. Then cinema attracted her to play supporting roles, including: (Asrar Al-Banat, First Year of Nasb, Omar 2000, Zarif Tariq).
