The bird landed, the bird flew away, is a 1971 Kuwaiti play, directed by Hussain Al-Saleh, and starring AbdulHusain AbdulRedha, Saad Al-Faraj, Ghanem Al-Saleh. with a runtime of 120 minutes.
The Bird Landed, the Bird Flew Away is a Kuwaiti social comedy stage production that places two neighboring families — and two brothers — from opposite ends of the economic spectrum under the same roof. Bou Fariala and his children represent the affluent class, while Bou Hilan and his son Hilan come from humble means. Despite their shared kinship and proximity, their lives play out against very different backdrops, and the contrast between their values, habits, and aspirations generates a rich vein of situational comedy. The play uses laughter to examine class divisions and what separates — and ultimately connects — people across social boundaries.
