Overview

والسيدة حرمه is an Arabic drama film that opens at a cemetery where a grieving man visits his late wife's grave, only to encounter a rural woman who bears a striking resemblance to her. Shaken by the likeness, he follows her home and proposes an unusual arrangement: she will come to live with him and play the role of his deceased wife for his young daughter, who still does not know her mother is gone — all in exchange for a sum of money. The woman accepts, setting in motion a journey laden with confused emotions, moral questions, and reflections on grief, identity, and love.
