Promise (Wa'd) is a romantic drama film built around a childhood triangle of love, loyalty, and fate. Three inseparable friends — Medhat, Adel, and Fatima — grow up with a bond that is both tender and complicated. But Adel harbors feelings he cannot express, and with no hope in sight he leaves for abroad, carrying his love in silence.
