Safaa graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, and began her artistic career since entering college, where she was discovered by advertising director George Dawes and nominated her to play a role in a play directed by director Jalal Al-Sharqawi, who gave her his name so that her artistic name became Safaa Jalal. From here was the beginning of a fruitful journey with distinguished roles, as she worked with a large number of acting giants in Egypt, including Kamal El-Shenawy, Fouad Al-Mohandes, and Maali Zayed, and her roles varied between Saadia and the young girl.
