The events of the series take place in our current time without mentioning the Syrian crisis. It is based on a CD documenting a murder committed by Mudhar. He is found by chance by a poor traffic policeman, Abu Ayham. After a lengthy search for him by members of Mudhar’s family, they are able to find out his whereabouts. They begin bargaining with Abu Ayham until they reach a very exorbitant sum of money, fearing that the C.D. will fall into the hands of the judiciary, which puts him in confusion. Either To choose to take the money in order to recover from his bad financial situation and achieve salvation for his family, or to cause an oppressed person to reach the gallows who had been unjustly accused of the crime.
