Mechanics is an Egyptian comedy film starring Nelly as Nancy, a spoiled and sharp-tongued socialite whose superyacht breaks down at sea. Her long-suffering employee Adham, played by Abdel Aziz Makhion, calls in Mansour — a gifted ship mechanic portrayed by Youssef Mansour — to fix the engine. Nancy and Mansour clash immediately and verbally spar relentlessly, until a sudden accident robs Nancy of her memory. Forced into an unlikely alliance, Mansour works to help her regain her mind while simultaneously uncovering and thwarting her cunning ex-husband's scheme to seize control of her fortune. The film delivers romantic comedy with a fast-paced plot full of mistaken identities and shifting loyalties.
