Ismael Gamal

Egyptian director, photographer, and author, born November 22, 1947. He obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Acting and Directing, in 1974, then a Bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Directing, in 1981. A photographer initially participated in several works in the seventies, including (Strangers, The Innocents), then he turned to directing after that, participating in many works, the most important of which are (Midnight Attack, Mechanics).
