Overview
From أجل الحياة (For the Sake of Life) is an Egyptian drama set against the backdrop of the 1967 Naksa, following two orphaned children — Osama and Lamia — who lose their parents during the war's airstrikes. Falling into the clutches of the cruel Shalata, who schemes to exploit them as beggars by disfiguring them, the children manage to escape before a kind-hearted man named Hassan rescues them and reunites them with their remaining family. The film is a moving portrait of childhood resilience and human solidarity in the shadow of national tragedy.
