Kings of Laughter is an Egyptian comedy film centered on Farhat, a besotted admirer who falls for dancer Seham and bankrolls a film to make her a star. Seham, however, has eyes only for handsome young actor Shaker and maneuvers to have him cast opposite her. The comic mayhem escalates when Shaker's unemployed friend Saber is passed off to Farhat as a seasoned Italian director, setting the stage for a delightful farce of mistaken identities and tangled ambitions.
