Adventurers Around the World is an Egyptian comedy-thriller that begins aboard a passenger ship, where two friends, Mamdouh and Salah, meet a pair of women — Amina and Hanan — and a suspicious traveller named Youssef, who claims to be transporting a deceased person's coffin for burial abroad. The coffin, it turns out, conceals a cache of smuggled jewels. When Amina and her father learn the secret and scheme to steal the treasure, Mamdouh finds himself drawn into their plot while the more principled Salah alerts the ship's captain. The ensuing chase leads to the gang's arrest and the seizure of the contraband. A breezy blend of comedy and adventure, the film keeps audiences guessing as loyalties shift and the stakes aboard the ship keep rising.
