Overview

Five Boys and a Wheel is a Jordanian short drama film set in the coastal city of Aqaba, adapted into Arabic from Raymond Carver's celebrated short story 'Bicycles, Muscles, Cigarettes.' When a petty squabble breaks out between neighborhood children, a young father is called upon to mediate — but when the parents of both families convene to resolve the matter, what begins as a minor dispute rapidly escalates into something far more charged and revealing.
