Overview

Al-Naher is a Lebanese drama film set on an autumn evening in the mountains of Lebanon, where a man and woman are about to leave a mountain restaurant when the silence is shattered by fighter jets screaming overhead. As the distant sound of war resurfaces, the man loses sight of his companion and sets out to find her on the other side of the mountain. Together they move deeper into a nature that grows increasingly spectral and otherworldly, mirroring the fragile thread that connects them.
