Overview

Passion is a Syrian drama film following Imane, a thirty-year-old woman living with her husband and three young children in a modest home facing the historic citadel of Aleppo. In a quiet but piercing moment of self-reflection, Imane realises that a full decade of marriage has passed in which she has done almost nothing except care for her family — her own desires, ambitions, and identity quietly eroded by the daily demands of domestic life. Against the timeless backdrop of Aleppo, she begins a journey of inner reckoning, asking what she truly wants from the years ahead. A thoughtful and intimate portrait of a woman rediscovering herself.
