Overview

Harassment (Iz'aj) is an Arabic social comedy following Mansour, a newlywed who enters marriage to Hayat expecting a quiet and simple life. Instead, he finds himself besieged: his mother-in-law inserts herself into every aspect of their daily routine, and mounting debts pile pressure onto an already strained household. Every time Mansour manages to sidestep one problem, another springs up in its place. The series uses his relentless string of misfortunes as a comic lens through which to examine the very real pressures facing young married couples — financial strain, family interference, and the gap between the dream of domestic life and its reality.
