Kazem Al-Qallaf (1945-2000) was a prominent Kuwaiti writer, director, and actor, born on April 15, 1945 in Kuwait. He began his artistic career through school theater, and developed into one of the most prestigious names in the Kuwaiti art world.
He participated for the first time as an actor on stage in the play “Seize Your Time” with the Arab Theater Troupe, then he continued to present many prominent theatrical works such as “Beit Bou Saleh,” “The Victim of Beit Al-Ezz,” and “Makhroush Tah Bakroush.” He also worked as a director on Kuwaiti television, where he made important contributions to the development of television drama.
In the field of television drama, he participated in several famous series, including “Ajlah Wa Al-Malah,” “Private Lesson,” “Sons of Tomorrow,” and “Peace be upon the World,” where he demonstrated his talent in embodying characters in an influential manner.
Kazem Al-Qallaf died on July 4, 2000 in Kuwait, after a struggle with cancer that devastated his health in his final years. He left behind an artistic legacy that remains engraved in the memory of Kuwaiti theater and drama.
