He Came Back, But is an Arabic social comedy series revolving around Fouad Bukrouh, a man so exhausted by the endless squabbles with his wife Naima and her siblings Rami and Hanadi that he finally walks out in search of a simpler, quieter life. Naima, refusing to accept his departure, enlists her neighbour Laila to help her devise a plan to lure him home. But Laila has her own agenda — she deliberately prolongs the couple's conflict, using each new scheme as an opportunity to extract money from the unsuspecting Naima. A light comedic series about marital friction, domestic scheming, and the unlikely alliances that form when trust is in short supply.
