Al-Soghayara is an Arabic social comedy play that examines two contrasting forms of marital neglect through the lives of two couples. The first husband is so consumed by work and financial ambition that he has little time for his wife and daughter. His friend faces the opposite problem: a wife entirely absorbed in her appearance and social life, leaving him feeling invisible at home. Through sharp, light-hearted comedy, the play raises genuine questions about priorities, partnership, and what gets lost when couples stop truly seeing each other.
