Overview

Al Rasif is an Egyptian social film that draws its material from the rich and often contradictory fabric of everyday Arab life. Set against the backdrop of urban street culture, the film weaves together stories of diverse characters whose lives intersect on the sidewalk, a space that becomes a mirror reflecting social tensions, human struggles, and the endless variety of ordinary Egyptian experience. With its observational approach, the film offers an unfiltered panorama of society's persistent problems and the resilience of its people.
