Al Hob wa Sninih is an Arabic comedy series that follows a crafty but reckless husband who fabricates a mental illness — claiming he confuses the identities of people around him — to wriggle out of an awkward situation of his own making. His unsuspecting wife takes the lie at face value and rushes him to a doctor, who proceeds to perform brain surgery to treat the supposed condition. In a bitterly ironic twist, the fake ailment becomes entirely real after the operation.
