Overview
Who Doesn't Love Fatma? is an Egyptian social comedy that follows a man navigating simultaneous heartbreak and unemployment. After losing his job and being rejected by the family of the woman he loves, he travels to Austria hoping to find work through a relative already living there. When that plan falls through, he finds himself absorbed into a community of Egyptian immigrants, navigating the unfamiliar rhythms of life in Europe. An unexpected connection forms when he meets Margret, a woman who converts to Islam and agrees to marry him, giving his journey an unforeseen romantic resolution.
