Overview
My Brother and Friend I Will Kill You is an Egyptian comedy centered on a pair of spectacularly unlucky artists: Adel, a failed writer, and his best friend Yehia, a painter whose canvases attract no buyers except the eccentric Azab. Adel hatches a scheme — Yehia will fake his own death, betting that posthumous scarcity will drive up the value of his work. The plan begins to pay off when Azab starts snapping up paintings at elevated prices. But complications arrive in the form of Dalia, a widow returning from abroad whom Yehia genuinely loves — throwing a romantic wrench into the elaborate deception and setting off a cascade of comic misadventures as fiction and feeling collide.
