Abboud on the Border is an Egyptian comedy film starring the lovable rascal Abboud, who lives a carefree life with his two best friends. As the only son of a retired army officer, he assumed he was exempt from military service — until his father remarries and has another child, shattering that exemption. Reluctantly drafted despite being declared unfit, Abboud ends up stationed at the border alongside his same circle of friends. When a drug-smuggling gang tries to recruit the four conscripts, Abboud must choose between his old reckless ways and a newfound sense of duty.
