Overview

Sulaiman Al-Tayeb is an Arabic social comedy series about Suleiman, a single man in his forties whose modest life is dominated by his controlling and miserly mother. Obsessed with keeping the family wealth intact, she refuses to let him marry, fearing that a wife might produce children who could inherit everything. The neighborhood matchmaker Umm Faisal tries her best to convince the mother — and fails. Determined to see Suleiman settled, she hatches a clever scheme with the widow Taiba to arrange the marriage by outmaneuvering the mother entirely. A sharp and funny comedy that skewers overbearing parental control and the absurdity it creates in the lives of grown adults.
