Overview

Hessa Has a Pen is an Arabic social drama series built around a woman whose chronic memory problems make it impossible for her to retain the details of everyday life. To cope, she carries pen and paper everywhere, carefully documenting every significant moment as it happens. The series follows the emotional and practical challenges she faces within her family and community, turning a condition that might be played for comedy into a genuinely empathetic portrait of resilience and adaptation. It is a quiet, character-driven drama about the effort it takes to hold one's own life together.
