Overview

A Little Sun is a poetic Arabic short film set against the atmospheric backdrop of Damascus, where two companions, Osama and Luna, wander the city's streets and breathe in its morning air — a heady blend of fresh bread and jasmine. As Luna shares stories about distant, wonderful cities, the film becomes a quiet meditation on longing, friendship, and the beauty embedded in familiar places. Gentle and lyrical in tone, A Little Sun lingers in the sensory richness of Damascus before displacement and change, capturing the tender intimacy of two people inhabiting a city they love while dreaming of worlds beyond.
