He is one of the most famous child actors in Egyptian cinema. He made his debut at the age of seven in the movie (Al-Usta Hassan), and his works followed after that, the most famous of which are (Hamido, Youth of a Woman, Pier Number Five, Land of Peace). He retired in 1967 when he was restricted to child roles and did not find suitable roles as an adult. He then settled in Alexandria and opened a car showroom, until he passed away in 1996.
