An Egyptian actress, born in the city of Dayrut in Assiut Governorate.
Her theatrical talent appeared in elementary school, and she began her life by writing stories, poetry, and zajal.
She worked in the field of teaching after graduating from the Teachers' School.
She settled in Cairo until she met the artist Najma Ibrahim, who encouraged her to act. She joined the Acting Institute and obtained a diploma in 1947. Then she was appointed to the modern theater troupe formed by Zaki Tulaimat, before moving on to work in the National Theater troupe. She participated in dozens of works, most notably (The Story of Mizo, Gulfdan Hanem, Hassan and Naima). She passed away in 1983.
