
He is a capable Iraqi artist, actor and theater director. He was born in Iraq in the city of Mosul in 1953. He has worked in theater since 1967 (Youth Theater) - Pioneer Theater Troupe (Mosul). He obtained a diploma in theater arts in 1975-1976. He worked in Iraqi theater groups, and among the theater groups he worked in were: (Youth Theater Troupe, Pioneer Theater Troupe, and other groups). He founded the Al-Najah Theater Troupe and the Spring Theater Troupe, and worked in the Iraqi National Troupe (director). Among the positions he held were: 1. Head of the Drama Department on Iraqi Radio from 1979-1985 2. Director of Iraqi Radio Production in 1988-1985 3. Member of the Central Council of the Artists Syndicate 1986-1994 and other positions. He directed the following plays and transferred some of them to television as a director (plays - Guevara, Filastiniat, Al-Sabaawi, Umm Khalil) and many other plays. He also participated in many Arab, international and local festivals, including: (Baghdad Theater Festival, Iraq 1985, Suez Film Festival, Egypt 1987, Cairo Film Festival, Egypt 1988). He also received many awards, including: 1. The Grand Prize of the Carthage Theater Festival for the play “Paradise Opens Its Doors Late,” the best integrated theatrical performance, the best theater director in the 1985 Iraqi Theater Festival, “I T I,” and the best theater director in the 1996 Theater Festival.
