Overview

Thamanttash is an Iraqi drama series weaving together two intersecting storylines. In the first, Hassan delivers a cache of rare ancient manuscripts to Saja — artefacts buried on her uncle's estate that the mysterious Abu Sawda is desperately hunting. In the second, a determined researcher attempts to publish findings exposing American contamination of the Euphrates River, only to find every official door shut in his face; his sole support comes from his girlfriend Marwa. The series blends political intrigue, historical mystery, and personal resilience into a layered dramatic narrative.
