An Egyptian actress, she graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Acting and Directing in 1971. She is the class of the artists (Mohamed Sobhi), (Younis Shalaby), and (Lenin Al-Ramli), who graduated from the Department of Drama and Criticism at the same institute. Together they formed the “Actor’s Studio” troupe. At the beginning of her life, she worked in (Rida Folk Arts Band), where she met her husband, the performance artist (Hassan Afifi), and they married shortly afterward. I worked a lot with Mohamed Sobhi in his works. I performed before him in the play (The Lesson is Over, Stupid) in 1975 AD. I also played the role of Wafaa in the play (The Joker) in 1979 AD. I also participated with him in the play (The Savage) in 1984 AD. I also participated in the play (Takhareef) and the play (Point of View) in 1989 AD. In 1995 AD I participated in the play (The Wanis Family). In 1998, she also participated in the play (Mama America). In cinema, she participated in films including (Hassan and Morcos) with the artist (Adel Imam and the artist (Omar Sharif), (Ashik Wad in Roxy) with (Ashraf Abdel Baqi), and (Prince of the Seas) with (Mohamed Henedy) and others. In television drama, she participated in the series (A Knight Without a Horse), (Salt of the Earth), (A Rich Man Very Poor) and (Wanes Diaries 5) with (Mohamed Sobhi) and others. She has her husband, the artist (Hassan Afifi). A son and a daughter: (Hisham) and (Yasmine).
