Leila Wahda is an Egyptian romantic drama in which a spontaneous romance blossoms into marriage — only to be quickly shadowed by jealousy and suspicion. Psychiatrist Ahmed meets Samia on a trip to Hurghada and the two fall in love, eventually tying the knot. But as their life together begins, Samia becomes increasingly convinced that Ahmed's relationship with a woman from his past never truly ended. Her doubts grow into an obsession that strains the young marriage at its very foundation. The series explores the fragility of trust and the way unresolved histories can poison even the most promising of new beginnings.
