He was one of the players on the basketball team in the Al-Ahly club when director Ahmed Diaa El-Din discovered him and gave him his first opportunity in the movie “Teenage Girls” in 1960. His cinematic roles continued in films such as: “Sins” 1962, “More precious than my life” 1965, “Girls’ Camp” 1967, “A Nose and Three Eyes” 1972, and “Love Before Bread Sometimes.” 1977,...etc.
He also participated in a number of television series, such as: (The Family) 1994, (White * White) 2003, and (Queen in Exile) 2010.
