Overview

Zawaj Ala El-Tareeqa El-Mahalleya is a Syrian romantic comedy set in one of Damascus's vibrant popular neighborhoods. The story follows two friends with entirely opposite approaches to love: Tahseen, the carefree playboy who treats romance as entertainment, and his idealistic friend Samir, who has never been in a relationship and believes deeply in love as something pure and sacred. When Samir falls for a beautiful girl and tries to win her heart, her suspicious uncle becomes a formidable obstacle, convinced that Samir's intentions are dishonest. A lively and affectionate film about love, friendship, and the comic complications that arise when sincerity meets suspicion.
