Borderline (Wara' El Blayk) is a tender and bittersweet drama about two people on the margins of city life who find love in the most unexpected circumstances. Saâdia, a cleaning woman, and Mokhtar, a night watchman at construction sites, cross paths in a city that has offered them little but hardship and disappointment. Their relationship blooms into something rare and luminous — a discovery of grace — but the film does not shy away from the painful cost of loving when the world around you offers so little support. A deeply humanist love story about dignity, longing, and the fragility of joy.
