Overview

Fataria is a Tunisian comedy-drama set in May 2004, during the Arab Summit held in Tunis. Amid the city's charged, frenetic atmosphere, four strangers' lives inadvertently intersect: an electrician, a choreographer, a gravely ill man, and a professional mourner. Though their paths cross, they never truly meet — each absorbed in navigating their own deeply personal predicaments while the political world buzzes around them. A sharp, burlesque portrait of ordinary life playing out on the margins of a major historical moment.
