Overview
Shift Massaei is an Egyptian short drama film set almost entirely during a late-night customer service call. Zein, a young man in his mid-twenties, works the night shift at an internet service provider, seemingly at peace with his routine life. Past midnight, a call comes in from a customer named Akram reporting a service outage — a simple technical problem that should be resolved within hours. But Akram's frustration quickly escalates into a relentless psychological assault, exposing Zein's powerlessness, the indignity of his work, and the bleakness of his daily existence.
