Overview
Out of the Ordinary is an Egyptian romantic drama film in which Yehia, a scientist who has failed to find empirical evidence of paranormal human abilities, is compelled to take a forced break from his research and daily life. Drifting aimlessly, he ends up at a quirky seaside guesthouse populated by an eccentric collection of characters. As an intimate bond grows between him and the guesthouse owner, and as he is drawn to her charismatic young daughter, Yehia begins to sense that the extraordinary gift he spent years searching for may have been hiding in plain sight — in the people around him, and perhaps in himself.
